William Shatner – now there’s a real legend, and here’s six things you didn’t know about him:
One: He’s not American, he’s Canadian (born in Montreal).
Two: Next March he’ll see his 90th birthday.
Three: He trained as a Shakespearean actor, and first performed on stage in a play by the Bard in 1954.
Four: His first big TV role came in the same year, when he played Ranger Bob in ‘The Canadian Howdy Doody Show’.
Five: He wasn’t in the first pilot for ‘Star Trek’. The producers weren’t happy with that and tried again, this time with William as James T Kirk, captain of the Enterprise. He got the job and played Kirk from 1966 to 1969.
Six: William swears by CBD. He has said, “I’ve got some aches and pains I didn’t have a few years ago. But, I’m finding out there are many things that help aches and pains that we didn’t know about just a few years ago. CBD, it’s magical. I’ve had swollen joints where it hurts, you rub some on and while you’re rubbing it on, the pain disappears. It’s magical.”
