RHS FLOWER SHOW TATTON PARK 2015

We’re thrilled to announce that Haughton Honey has been chosen to attend the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park between 22nd and 26th July 2015 in partnership with The Guild of Fine Food.

Set in the magnificent parklands the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park is a celebration of the best in gardening with a vibrant carnival atmosphere. A spectacular day out, not just for plant lovers, but for friends and family too. The show is held over a staggering 28 acre site, takes 24 days to prepare and boasts over 500 exhibitors.

Tatton Park in Cheshire is one of the UK’s most complete historic estates. It is home to a Tudor Old Hall, Neo-Classical Mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens, a rare-breed farm and 1,000 acres of deer park. For nearly 400 years the estate was the property of the Egerton family until it was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1958. Today it is financed and maintained by Cheshire East Council.

The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park was first held in 1999 and has welcomed thousands of visitors through the gates for the past 15 years. Renowned for its friendly atmosphere many of the original features of the show such as the RHS National Flower Bed Competition, Show Gardens and Floral Marquee still remain today. Over the years the RHS have introduced different garden categories and features such as the RHS National Young Designer Competition in 2009, a themed category that changes annually which has included Orchestra Gardens and Galaxy Gardens and a Ladies’ Day in 2011. These additions have made Tatton Park a show that relishes fresh ideas and innovation. Community organisations have also played a large part in the show’s identity with charities, schools and local authorities.
