The musician Kelis Rogers started out as a Cordon Bleu chef many years ago, before moving into music. In fact, the first time she attended the huge South By South West music festival in Austin, Texas, she was cooking from a food truck rather than singing.

Kelis has presented a number of television cookery programmes, and is now fronting a new American cookery show called ‘Cooked With Cannabis’.

She uses both ‘full fat’ cannabis and CBD (as in our Haughton Honey infused with CBD). She says that when she uses the narcotic form of the plant as an ingredient she recommends only adding a small amount, so that the effect is calming rather than stoning.

The show isn’t scheduled to be shown in the UK, but we’ll try and catch some of her CBD recipes and bring them to you.
